LieF Privacy Policy
Effective September 12, 2026
LieF (com.lief.game) is an obstacle-racing game. This policy covers offline and local Wi-Fi version 0.9.0. Public internet rooms are not available in this version.
Data on your device
LieF stores game progress, difficulty, tone, audio and haptic preferences in private app storage. Sounds are bundled in the app and do not require a download. Optional haptics use your device settings. It saves illustrated group portraits and stage records in a private scrapbook. Records include the stage, game mode, achievements, race positions, game character identifiers, and the device's date, time and time-zone setting when the portrait was created.
You can choose a racer nickname, outfit colour and accessory. These are saved on your device and included in new race portraits and stage records. A nickname does not need to be your real name. The optional friend-star preference marks invited room players on your device; LieF does not access contacts or operate a friend-account service. Changing your profile affects new races, while previously saved portraits keep the names and appearances captured at that time.
The portraits are generated artwork of game characters, not camera photographs. LieF does not use your camera or microphone or request your contacts, location or advertising identifier. Playing does not require an account, real name, email address or telephone number. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not sell your data.
Local wi-fi play
When you choose Wi-Fi play, a local network address and a room PIN connect two devices. Gameplay controls, session information, your chosen nickname and appearance, and race state pass directly between those devices. The other player sees your nickname and character in the race and their saved group portrait. The app does not upload scrapbook images or gameplay to a developer-operated server in this version. Local game traffic is not encrypted; use a trusted network. There is no free-text chat or online player account.
Exporting a portrait
Export is optional. Android asks you where to save the image. Your chosen destination may be a local folder or a cloud storage provider. That provider's privacy practices apply to your export. The image can show illustrated participants, chosen nicknames and appearances, friend stars, race positions, the stage and capture date/time. LieF does not automatically publish exported images.
Retention and deletion
Private progress, preferences and scrapbook records remain on your device until you clear LieF's app storage in Android settings or uninstall the app. Clearing storage deletes that local progress and scrapbook. Exported copies must be deleted separately from their destination. Clearing your storage does not delete portraits or exports saved by other players on their devices. LieF disables Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup of its private app data.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer your request and troubleshoot the issue, and retain it only as needed for support and applicable record-keeping obligations. You can request deletion by contacting us. Opening the online policy takes you to a GitHub Pages website. GitHub receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, when serving that site, under its own privacy statement: https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement . No GitHub account is required to read the policy.
Intended audience
LieF is intended for adults aged 18 and over as a nostalgic obstacle-racing game. Its illustrated characters depict different stages of life. We do not intentionally seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Changes
We will update this policy if data handling changes. Any future version that enables internet rooms will need updated disclosures before release. The effective date above identifies this policy's current version.
